We had a serious hygiene problem during the stay: raw sewage flooded the apartment twice, leaving a strong smell of wastewater and fecal matter in the living area. The owner said it had never happened before, but the on-site staff seemed to know exactly what was going on and how to handle it, which made it seem like an ongoing issue. The trouble started before arrival. Because of an owner-caused overbooking, we were asked to cut our stay by two days to fix their mistake, with no arrangement or payment for alternative lodging from the owner. We were then sent details for a different apartment, adding confusion and stress for our group of seven, who needed to know where we’d be staying. There was also an attempt to deal with parts of the matter outside Booking.com, which raised concerns about transparency and guest protection. The complimentary bottle of wine listed in the description was missing too, a small but telling detail. Taken together, the reliability and accountability problems, along with the serious hygiene concerns, make this a risky booking.

Parking is the one slightly tricky part. Otherwise, everything was clean and lovely, with new furniture and all the things you need. And the view is the most beautiful you can imagine, big rocks and the sunset over the sea. Don’t hesitate to come here, it’s such a nice place.

Radek, the owner, was absolutely lovely and couldn’t do enough for us. We stayed at myocean apartments for two weeks and loved it. The apartment is comfortable and well presented, with a nicely set-up kitchen and sitting room. The bedrooms aren’t huge, but they’re adequately sized. You overlook the harbour and the cliffs of los gigantes, yet the town centre is only minutes away. It’s a beautiful place, and if you manage to book it, you’ve dropped lucky, since it sells out in a flash for good reason.

The owner was kind and really helpful. We also had a large pool right next door, which we more or less had to ourselves even in the busy season. The newly renovated apartment has a big terrace with amazing sea views, and shops, a supermarket, restaurants and bars are all very close. Beautiful place and ideal location. I’d highly recommend it.
