Hospedería Guts Muths

The location worked well, close to Astorga and with no parking hassles, and the place itself is beautiful and very quiet. The rooms are roomy and comfortable, with en-suite bathrooms, and there's a large patio and garden. The kitchen let us down: the appliances are very old, the gas stove is dated, the microwave has a plate that doesn't sit properly in place of a rotating tray, and the refrigerator leaks. Most of the bedroom TVs don't work either. We were also disappointed that our pets couldn't go out onto the patio because there were newborn kittens in the garden, so our dogs had to stay inside for the whole visit. For a pet-friendly place, that was quite surprising.

We were only there for one night, so never got a chance to enjoy the patio or the house. It was wonderfully peaceful and felt like a place to rest. The ranch and the local flavors both brought back memories of my childhood.

The setting is spectacular, and this rural retreat is a really attractive place. It has all sorts of comforts while keeping the traditional character of the Maragato region.

Really fun. A pleasant place for a group of several families, in a rustic, traditional house that feels very typical.
