Singular Alameda

The mattresses were really comfortable, and the place was very clean. I stayed with friends, so it was very affordable for our group. Great service too. It’s been nicely renovated, but still has its Andalusian feel, especially the decorative tiles. Spectacular, I’d definitely come back!

Booking.com helped resolve the problem after I contacted them, but getting there was a terrible experience. The woman who dealt with me was unpleasant and wouldn’t do anything about the air conditioning, even though it was barely cooling the room. At first no air came out at all, then only a little. She said it was an old apartment and nothing more could be done, and claimed the place was fully booked that day. That wasn’t true. She suggested the maintenance man might help, but he couldn’t do anything either. The terrace was very dirty, the hallway was very narrow, and the main entrance has no passageway, so it’s easy to get confused when trying to find the bathroom. Compared with my recent stay at the amazing Singular Metropol, this was disappointing. The customer service, terrace, air conditioning, and narrow hallways at Singular Alameda (Apolo) all leave a lot to be desired. I wouldn’t recommend it, at least in summer.

Hércules XCI Apartments was fantastic. The hostess service, decor, comfort, and location were all great, and there’s a terrace too. Sitting out with a drink in Seville in December at 20°C was a real treat.

The terrace was the best part, but the whole apartment was excellent: spacious, clean, pleasant, well maintained, and fitted with all new equipment.
