Onefam Catedral Hostel Sevilla

The location made it easy to get around on foot, and the hostel was pretty, clean, and comfortable. Everyone was welcoming and friendly, so it was easy to meet people. I stayed just one night. The bathrooms were clean, though small, with only two showers and toilets per floor.

The bed was probably the most comfortable one I've had in a hostel, and the staff were all lovely. I felt safe, and things seemed pretty clean. My room was in the second building rather than the main one, and it was quite small with no window. There weren't any hooks either, which was a bit inconvenient. Still, it was a very good option.

There was usually an event or something happening each night, so it was a very social place with plenty of chances to meet people. I spent five nights here while working from home and found a quiet spot with a desk, which was great. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Magdalena and Priscilla for making us feel welcome. I'd love to come back!

I'd keep a stay here to one or two nights, mainly for the location. The rooms without ventilation got uncomfortable, and I left before I could take any more of what was going on. From what I saw, the hostel lets a group of non-local young people live there for free in a room off the back patio, instead of hiring regular employees. They seemed more focused on their own drama than on working, and treated guests as a nuisance. There was loud music in the hall while guests were trying to talk, and the Brazilian woman playing it seemed moody the next day after the man she'd been kissing left at 2 a.m. A man from Central America and his Italian hookup were drunk after quiet hours, making noise and leaving a mess. People smoked cigarettes in the patio after midnight, and the smell spread into nearby rooms while guests were sleeping. I also saw an Italian woman upset because her love interest from somewhere else had left. Others slept in the common area or treated spaces and amenities for guests as their own.
