Casa Rural El Cipres

There’s room for a big group here, with two fully equipped kitchens and two living rooms. The house was warm despite the winter weather, welcoming, and spotless, and the owners were very friendly. We brought our dog after letting them know beforehand, and they had no problem with it. The location in the village is great, right beside the Monastery of Silos and several restaurants. We’ll definitely return.

We spent a relaxing afternoon here, though we did miss having Wi-Fi. Otherwise, everything was wonderful. The country house had spacious rooms, a big living room, a terrace, and a practical kitchen. The woman who helped us was very friendly and answered our questions about places to visit in Burgos perfectly.

Marta was such a welcoming host, happy to answer questions and offer advice. Everything listed for the apartment was there, and it was very well equipped and clean. The location is excellent. If you're thinking of buying property nearby, I’d recommend LUPA in Salas de los Infantes. Marta suggested it, and the 17 km trip is worth it.

Marta was wonderful from before we arrived through the whole stay. She made things easy, answered our questions, suggested places to see, and was incredibly kind. Everything in the house was clean, orderly, working properly, and free of problems. We rented both apartments together because of our group size, though they can also be booked separately. They're in perfect condition and have what you need for several days. The house is right in the small village center, by the main square with several places to eat or have a drink, and near the monastery. Highly recommended for exploring the area. Parking could be tricky sometimes in the old town center, but we solved it by leaving the car at the edge of town, no more than a five-minute walk away. There was also nowhere nearby to take the trash, so we had to go to the edge of town for that too. Neither issue was the house's responsibility, and both were minor against the lovely family time we had.
