Our balcony looked out toward the beach and the mountain in the next town, and the shower pressure was incredible for rinsing sand off after a swim in the clear blue water. The furnishings are basic but do the job, and the price for this location is unbelievable. Santoña is a five-minute drive away and well worth a visit for the food and sights. Hiking trails to the neighboring towns start right outside the hostal. If you’re in the area, stay a day or two.

The room was basic but worked perfectly for what we needed, and the staff were great and very friendly. The location is lovely, and it’s a great place to stay for anyone walking the Camino del norde.
