When I got there, all I found was an abandoned house. The place is closed, so don’t go there! It’s 1.7km off the Camino main road, and there was nowhere to stay in that area. I had to walk back to the main road and continue from there.

We arrived in heavy rain hoping to get something to eat. There was no cook that day, but the hosts still let us in and gave us vegetable soup, tea, fruit, and a brownie for our child. The soup, made with vegetables from their own garden, was delicious. They were incredibly kind and helped us in several ways, and the meal cost surprisingly little. They even showed us in person how to get out to their bridge across the road. Wonderful people, and a great stay.

The location is spectacular, set in nature. It’s an ideal place to spend the day with children, with activities for them and walks where you can meet the farm animals.

The kids had a great time feeding the animals. It’s a lovely place to visit with them and learn about a farm. Highly recommended.
