Pension Siete en el Camino

I got sick on my Camino and spent a few days here getting better. It’s a quiet, safe, clean spot just before Sarria’s main town, with a kitchen for storing food and a warm fire in reception. The owner was very kind, too.

The staff were friendly and easy to approach, and paid great attention to what guests needed. There’s a handy kitchen for making a simple meal, reheating food, or fixing tea or coffee. My private room was a little dated but comfortable, with good Wi-Fi. It’s nearer the entrance to Sarria, about 500-900 meters from the center, and there’s a good restaurant right below the albergue.

Alberto welcomed us on the first night of our "El camino de Santiago" and was really nice, friendly, and professional. He pointed us to a very nice restaurant and bar. They also seem to speak a little simple English, if that matters to you. The room was small, but clean and comfortable, and in a good location. The heater worked well on a March night below 10 degrees. Wi-Fi was okay, though sometimes I had to find a certain spot and do a little maneuver to connect. The price was fine. Recommended!
