The hospitalera was a big help with local information and even with the clotheslines when it rained. It was great meeting and chatting with you. We found the private rooms cozy and quiet, and their kitchen had a hot plate, fridge, and microwave.

The location was good and I had a good stay overall. I was there at the end of April, and the rooms felt a little cold. The shared bathrooms were outside and fairly small, with just one toilet in the women’s bathroom.

The staff were lovely and helped us with the pilgrim passport, as well as explaining the Camino and the area. The kitchen had a microwave and fridge, and the surroundings were pleasant. Washing wasn’t possible in the evening. We paid almost €14 per person for three people. Our three-person room had a washbasin, which was handy for washing up. It was near the Camino, train station, and supermarket. We visited on 31 Mar-1 Apr, outside the crowded season, so it wasn’t too difficult for us, despite what we’d seen in other comments. Still, the room was cold even with the heater on, and the small bathroom had no clothes hanger, unlike some other hostels we’d stayed in.

A great spot for a pilgrim stopping in Sarria on the way to Santiago de Compostela. The location is perfect, the hosts and staff are kind, and the bathrooms are amazing. It’s private and fairly priced, with good facilities, a basic kitchen, and clean, roomy dorms.
