I wouldn’t choose this unless there was nowhere else to stay. We booked months ahead, and should’ve checked the reviews first. Getting a response from the owners when we arrived was difficult, and nobody came to show us around. Some issues mentioned by other reviewers may have been addressed, like the shower curtain, but the apartment still needs updating. Of the nine apartments we’ve stayed in on this Camino, this was the least well supplied and maintained. It had been cleaned, but looked worn out. The kitchen was very poorly equipped, with hardly any pots or pans, no paper towels, no oven, and no wine glasses. That was a problem since we cooked dinner. There was a washing machine, but its handle was broken, so we couldn’t use it. The beds were noisy and springy. My wife got two bedbug bites even though she used her liner. The bedroom lamp had no bulb, the hangers fell apart, and the common bathroom was too cramped between the toilet and bidet. The owners have said in other reviews that they own many apartments. Maybe there are too many for them to keep all of them properly maintained and updated.

It felt like a home away from home, with everything we needed for our stay before starting the Camino de Santiago. We were two couples, and the apartment had two reasonably sized double bedrooms, a good-sized bathroom, and an open-plan lounge and kitchen. Our host was friendly, helpful, and gave us all the information we needed for the stay and for setting off the next day. We highly recommend it.

We’d been a little wary after reading the reviews, but the apartment turned out to be clean and perfect, and the owner was very friendly. The bed was a bit hard for my taste. Honestly, those Travel Channel critics should stop writing reviews. After seeing what they post, I don’t know what they expect from the places they visit.

WARNING! Bed bugs all through the apartment! August 14-15, 2025. I had to get out in the middle of the night. Other reviews make it look like this has been going on for years, and it certainly doesn’t seem to have been disinfected recently. With the infestation, the lack of hot water feels like a minor problem. This apartment is unreliable.

The location couldn't have been better, and the woman helping us was friendly and efficient. But the beds were dirty and seemed to have some kind of bugs. There were four of us in an apartment meant for six, yet we only had two cups and two glasses. The refrigerator also wasn't working.
