The people here are amazing, and the Pulpo Gallego (octopus) is delicious! If you're walking el Camino toward Sarria, this is a lovely place to stop. Now I can keep walking!!! Thank you 😊🥰☀️

There are plenty of trees for shade when the sun's out, and the facilities were very good. Lovely campsite. We didn't try the restaurant.

For a one-night tent stop, it's fine, and I liked that the forest area wasn't lit up so it still felt a bit like nature. The rest of the campsite is very bright at night. The toilets weren't being looked after: by 10 on Sunday, the toilet paper had been gone since the day before, and the soap was watered down. The restaurant is pretty annoying, with music going past midnight, then a leaf blower to clean up and wake everyone. I didn't use the showers, so can't comment on them. It's good for a stop, but

The pitches were oddly shaped to fit around the trees, but worked well for us. The Camino passes right by the campsite, so you can watch people making their pilgrimage. I was surprised how many do it. We stayed three nights because we couldn't find another campsite nearby. The location was good, but with a large vehicle, follow the website instructions because access can be tight. Online prices were confusing: a caravan looked cheaper than a motorhome, but they also charge for your towcar, so we paid a bit more than expected. The restaurant looked lively and busy, but we didn't go in. It closes one night a week.

We went in early September, near the end of the season, so it was very quiet. The family running the site were friendly, and the toilet and shower block was very clean. Water pressure at the pitches was extremely high, and there were lots of power points, the two-pin domestic kind. The motorhome wastewater point wasn't clearly marked, but was fine. There's a popular restaurant next door on Saturdays, with kids playing in the adjoining area. Sarria itself is quite a walk and a bit boring. Recommended for an overnight stop.
