The check-in was awful. The person helping us didn't know where our room was, and this is a shared house. It smelled bad, and the beds had clearly been made with used sheets. There was hair and paper in the bed. What a state.
We found the shared areas spacious and well cared for, and the WiFi was fast. Our room was clean and airy, with two or more beds, maybe enough for three people. There were two clean bathrooms and a free washing machine. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the price was fair. Highly recommended.
Everything was clean and ready for us when we arrived. We spent the night before setting off on the Camino with Ana, who welcomed us warmly and shared useful information about the route.
The house is kept in nice condition. Just watch the payment if you book through a search engine: you could be charged there and then asked to pay cash again. It may have been a mistake, but keep an eye out.
The apartment is really well furnished, and the location is great, right at the start of the Camino. It's only 100 meters from Sarria's historic center.
