The staff who welcomed us were friendly and attentive, easily the best part of the stay. The apartments have what you need, and they’re not bad, but after a long day out walking I wanted to rest. The beds made that difficult: they’re uncomfortable, and I wouldn’t stay longer than one night because my back would hurt. It also gets hot at night, so summer seems like a poor fit without air conditioning. Maybe it works better in winter. Good beds would have earned a better rating from me.

The place was filthy, especially the bathroom, where there was hair left by the previous guest. The sheets had holes and there wasn’t even a blanket. Between the heat, the dirty room, and the bed, the stay was awful. The landlord rushed me on the phone, telling me to get there as soon as possible. I’ve never had that happen before. A disgrace.

It was really hot, though all the lovely sights were very close.
