Duermevela Hostel

The room we used to work in on the top floor was filled with daylight, and the whole place felt cosy. Marta cooked for our group of 18 all week, with delicious vegan meals made from carefully chosen local farm ingredients. Everyone was so welcoming, and the location is spot on. I spent a week there and already can't wait to return. What a find! :)

I only meant to stop for two days while walking the Camino Madrid, but ended up staying four more. The albergue was spotless, the kitchen had good equipment, and the location was ideal. Segovia is just so beautiful.

Right beside the Aqueduct, and a lovely base for exploring Segovia. It's a colourful, warm, welcoming hostel, and the beds are really comfortable. Even the private rooms share bathrooms, but there are several, so we never had to wait. Breakfast was nice, and upstairs there's a fun Sala de cine, a film lounge.

The aqueduct is less than a five minute walk away, with the cathedral and castillo about 10-15 minutes from there. The hostel itself is kept really clean, including the fairly new beds and bathrooms. The staff were welcoming, and I felt at home among the creative decor. There's a communal room, a TV room, free Wi-Fi, and a kitchen with good equipment.
