The room was impeccably clean and had several amenities, and the location is outstanding. Andres took a lot of time to explain the city, suggest places to go and walking routes, and point us to great cafes nearby. I only wish we'd stayed longer to make more of the location. Many thanks.

Our corner room looked out over the city wall, and I suspect the aqueduct might be visible once the trees lose their leaves. It was exceptionally clean and fresh. The street outside was quiet, and the main attractions, restaurants, and bars were an easy walk away. Finding paid parking right in front wasn't a problem, and the town uses an app to pay for time. The reception was wonderful, with recommendations on what to see and where to eat. It's a lovely little hotel, especially for people who don't need full hotel services or prefer to cook for themselves. I rate three stars as an acceptable stay I'd recommend to others, though I'd try somewhere else before returning. My lower rating is mostly about personal preferences, rather than service problems. I felt we paid too much for a two-star hotel, since I think we could have found somewhere with more services for the same price. We also had to agree on an arrival time because reception wasn't always staffed, and I prefer to check in on my own schedule. The beds felt a little too hard for us. We didn't care for the decor or cool white lights, and there were no closets. There was only instant coffee, and I think capsules or a drip machine would be a big improvement for those of us who need a first coffee in the morning. The rooms aren't well soundproofed, though our neighbours were quiet and respectful. We did wake up when the loose blinds flapped in the wind. Even with those drawbacks, we had a nice stay with great hosts.

The hosts were incredible. Andres gave us so many spot-on suggestions, and every one turned out great. They also took care of parking, which was a huge relief. We had one of our best stays anywhere, and we'll be back. The apartment had excellent wifi, useful for anyone who needs to work while travelling. Our room was large, very clean, bright with natural light, and had a fully equipped kitchen. Getting around Segovia was easy from here, with the aqueduct just a few minutes' walk away.

We spent just one day in Segovia, and the hotel staff's detailed advice made the trip unforgettable. Many thanks to Andres for sharing his love of the city with us.
