We had such a lovely week here, it felt like a fairytale. The house is spacious and comfortable, with gorgeous views all around, and being surrounded by nature made it easy to switch off. Thanks for welcoming us so warmly and being so kind. We hope to return soon.
We never even got to stay, despite booking well ahead. Two days before we were due to arrive, our reservation was canceled because we were a group aged 20 to 25. No other reason was given, and we were left scrambling at the last minute. Several people had already taken time off work for the weekend, too. If young guests aren't accepted, that should be made clear from the start. Canceling on us at the last moment over our age was irresponsible, discriminatory, and unprofessional. I wouldn't recommend this rural guesthouse to anyone under 30. We clearly weren't welcome.
The owner is really friendly, and the scenery is incredible. We've stayed here twice now, including this past weekend, and the house is spectacular. We'll be back again, that's our threat! (laughs)
Julio was an absolute delight, and the views were breathtaking. We stayed over the Pilar long weekend and were thrilled with the house. It had everything we could need. Highly recommend it.
The glassed-in porch and lovely valley views made the house especially nice. We were surrounded by nature and had a really comfortable stay over the Constitution Day long weekend.
