Javier made us feel at home and shared lots of useful, interesting information. The breakfast, with local products, is incredible. The apartments are comfortable, well equipped and nicely heated in winter. The mountains and woods around the hotel are beautiful, with stunning views across the valley. It's a great area for cycling, biking and hiking, with very few tourists and quiet roads. A wonderful little hotel. Do yourself a favor and stay at Posada del Candil for a few days.

The food was excellent and such good value. It felt personal and peaceful, and the owners were lovely and helpful. The place itself is beautiful, with spacious, comfortable rooms. I had a really nice time and would definitely recommend it. I'm going back 😃

Those views are amazing, and the apartments and main house were spotless and beautifully decorated. Lola and Javier were always glad to help with anything we needed, and the meals they served were delicious. We loved our stay at La Posada del Candil and would definitely return.

The staff were so friendly, and we really enjoyed our stay. We were there for work and barely got to see the place during the day, which was a shame. A car is the only way to get around jn andalucia.

The place has incredible views and every little detail seems to have been considered. The food is local, delicious, and includes vegetarian options. I absolutely recommend it!
