Apartamento San Bernardo

I was unsure at first, but the woman who checked us in was great and suggested nice places to eat and drink. The apartment was clean, which matters a lot to me, and easy to reach from the main attractions. We had access to a clean, well-kept terrace with clean garden furniture. Check-in and checkout were both easy, and our double pram fit inside the ground-floor apartment without any trouble. I’d definitely recommend it!

The building and apartment were nice, but we ran into a cockroach invasion. Luckily, the staff agreed to refund our stay so we could book somewhere else. I’d advise them to treat the whole building before summer, as is usually done in warm countries.

The apartment was cute, tidy and clean, but it needs repairs. The air conditioner was very noisy, and water from the shower in the shared bathroom ran all over the apartment. After showering, there was water all the way to the entrance door. The bathroom drain doesn’t work. This was apartment number 2.

It’s comfortable, but the website photos give a somewhat misleading impression of what to expect. The city centre is 10 minutes away, but it was impossible to park. Outside was so noisy it felt like everyone was in the room with us, and there were mosquitoes everywhere. The bathroom had no soap, though luckily I always bring some. There were very few dishes, no dish towel for drying them, and no tablecloth or napkins.
