The apartment itself is spacious, and if it had been kept clean and maintained, this review would look completely different. Instead, opening the building’s main door meant facing a couple of enormous cockroaches, like something from a Battletoads remake. The apartment was pitch dark when we entered because the circuit breakers had tripped, straight out of "Outlast." The bathroom smelled awful, like portable toilets in Seville, and the toilet paper had pubic hair and specks of feces on it. The toilet seat wobbled like one from "My 600lb Life." The bedroom drawers were filthy, and brushing against the sparkly blankets before bed would leave you breaking out in hives. Under the sofas was its own strange ecosystem. I wish I’d taken a photo of the air conditioning plugs patched with electrical tape, from the year the Generalissimo died. Don’t open the microwave unless you’re ready for a hadouken bigger than Peggi’s burp after a lousy sandwich. I don’t know if I can even describe it. I may have to wait until my next visit, since I love places that are supposed to be three stars for €157 a night. In Seville, it seems licenses go to just about anyone.

These are cheap apartments, sure, but they’re in a deplorable state. The showers are broken, and the shower screens are missing doors or have doors that fall off. There’s nowhere to put toiletries in the shower, and no dispensers like you find in other hotels. The rooms have pathetic old furniture, and the mattresses are so worn they could be used by a fakir. The kitchen and dining area are spacious, but the fridge wasn’t plugged in, smelled awful, and wasn’t clean. There are small red cockroaches in the rooms. There are only a few kitchen utensils, and the ones there are in bad shape. The leather sofa is ancient. Want me to go on, or do you get the picture? They tell you smoking’s prohibited, ha ha. I ended up there for work through my company, and I certainly won’t go back on my own. Would I recommend it? Not a chance.

There are some good things: private parking, though it isn’t exactly a luxury, and a very spacious living, kitchen, and dining area. Still, for the price they ought to provide better facilities, refresh the furniture, and paint the walls properly. The shower screen is broken, and the shower needs a proper repair, if not replacing altogether. There are only a few bottles of shampoo and no proper hygiene items. Cleaning was superficial. The air conditioning is dirty, old, and crawling with bugs, so it’s best left off. The furniture is a jumble, and the sofa is awful.

The place was €240, and it badly needed a thorough cleaning. There were cobwebs and insects everywhere, the service was appalling, and the bathrooms didn’t even have towels. A €100 deposit that they hadn’t told me about was also withheld, and they’ll find any excuse not to return it. The fridge barely cooled and had a nauseating cheese smell that filled the living room as soon as it was opened.

The reception staff were very helpful, and we had no trouble parking. It’s easy to drive from there to central Seville. The apartments are simple and spacious, though they could do with improvement, especially on cleanliness.
