We were charged €80 at check-in even though our reservation didn't mention a deposit. We felt we had to pay by credit card because without it the host wouldn't hand over the room key, and finding somewhere else during a major holiday period would have been difficult. We were out early sightseeing each day and got back late each night. The IKEA sofa was cheap and so small only one person could sit on it, under its throw. When we lifted the throw while packing at checkout to make sure we hadn't left any belongings behind, we found a large, worn tear in the sofa cover. It was old, not something we had caused, and we attached a photo for reference. Several hours after checkout, Hose emailed to accuse us of damaging it. We explained and sent photos showing it was already old, but the host made excuses and kept our €80 instead of refunding it. Now you know what happened. Don't stay here. There are many reputable hotels in a convenient location nearby.

Throws covered the seating area, so you wouldn't see the damage until lifting them, which we only did at the last minute to check for belongings. Check everything carefully when you arrive, including under the throws and blankets, and take photos of every part of the room even if something looks original.

Spotless and comfortable, in a perfect spot. I'd highly recommend it.

We stayed nine nights on the 3rd floor, and I'd look here first if I return to Seville. The place is beautiful and comfortable, despite a few small drawbacks. Location and access to the city center are great. There is some noise outside, but closing the windows makes it quiet. The mattress was good, the bedding clean, and there were plenty of towels, toilet paper, and trash bags. More were brought when we asked. There's an elevator, a dining table and sofa, plus heating and A/C. With the windows open, the 3rd floor gets lovely sunlight and views. Natural light seems even better from the 3rd floor up. The listing mentioned laundry, but our 3rd-floor apartment had no washing machine, and it varies by floor, so check first. A laundromat nearby charges 9.9 euros for one 9 kg load; drop things off in the morning, including for drying, and collect them at 7 pm. It took a while to reach the host. The shower could flood because the curtain wasn't sealed and water came through the gaps, so I recommend standing close to the wall. I'd been concerned by the scary Google reviews, but my deposit was safely returned.
