Murillo Hotel & Apartamentos

The staff made a real difference. They were friendly and helpful, and even printed the tickets I needed on paper, which I really appreciated. Hotel Murillo is right in the heart of the city, so getting to the main sights on foot was easy. My room was comfortable and very clean, a welcome place to come back to after a full day out. I had a wonderful stay and would definitely return.

The biggest problem for us was noise. Our room was beside the lift, and we could hear people in the corridor, conversations next door, and even showers and running water. I’d strongly suggest asking for a room away from the lift. The location itself is excellent, with all the main Seville attractions an easy walk away. We also tried the roof terrace a couple of times after days out and again in the evening. It’s a lovely open space with great views, but the bar was shut both times. We couldn’t find a separate bar elsewhere in the hotel, which was a shame. Breakfast was good, with a decent hot and cold selection, and the service was friendly and efficient. The free airport transfer was very convenient, too. Our room wasn’t ready when we arrived, and the welcome wasn’t especially warm. While we were getting our bags sorted to head out, though, the room became available, which was great. The room was a bit dated and small, with a small double bed, but it was clean and the bed was comfortable. We appreciated the daily bottles of water, and shower gel was provided. It’s a 2-star hotel, so set your expectations accordingly. We had a good experience overall and would recommend it with the room location in mind.

Rafael helped us get our car parked in a nearby lot and gave us a hand with our bags. We had a lovely time at Hotel Murillo, which is centrally located for Sevilla’s main sights. The staff were kind and attentive. Our room was small, but the beds were comfortable and we had our own balcony. The decor is dated but maintained well, with several suits of medieval armor in the lobby.

The staff were so welcoming, always friendly and ready to help with a smile. Our room was very clean, the bed comfortable, and things were quiet enough to unwind after a long day. Breakfast had a good variety, and the location made it convenient to get around. It was exactly what I needed. I highly recommend the hotel and will definitely come back.
