Becquer Hotel, Historic City Center

The mattress was incredibly comfortable, and the location couldn't have been better. Staff were welcoming and highly professional, with everything a regular traveler needs. I also like that the hotel is local and family-owned, and you can tell they take pride in their properties. I'd stayed at their other hotel, Kivir, and was just as impressed. A superb stay.

Breakfast was the highlight for us: easily the best buffet we've had, with loads of freshly made food and fresh produce. The room was clean, with a large, very comfortable bed and everything else we needed. Staff were great and really showed what good customer service looks like. You can tell as soon as you arrive that the place is special. A delightful stay, with a great location too. We'd gladly recommend it and come back.

The lounge was a lovely place to gather before heading out, relax in the afternoon, or wind down after dinner. There were several comfortable seating areas, with hot and cold drinks and snacks available all day. We also enjoyed drinks on the rooftop terrace by the pool, taking in fantastic city views. Our room looked onto the main avenue, but the enclosed balcony and large opening window kept it very quiet. The bed was comfortable, and being able to choose our pillows helped us sleep well during our week at Hotel Becquer. Staff were friendly and helpful, and breakfast was superb. Highly recommended.

I left my phone in the room by mistake and only noticed once I was already on a plane across Europe. The Hotel Bécquer team communicated clearly and arranged to get it back to me within 24 hours, which I really appreciated. We were treated to warm, genuine hospitality from the moment we arrived, and our room was spotless. Service throughout our March stay was excellent. I couldn't upgrade because the hotel was fully booked, and I thought the morning coffee could have been better, but those were small downsides. The staff's professionalism and care were second to none. I'd gladly stay again and highly recommend the hotel. A little late, but sincere thanks to everyone there.
