The apartment was comfortable and very clean, and worked well for a short city break. There were plenty of nice restaurants nearby, and the attractions were within walking distance.

The pool was far too cold to use, as it had no warm water, and the bedroom looked inward with almost no natural light. The terrace didn't have an outside view either. We booked the place for the pool to celebrate a birthday, so that was a real letdown. It was cold inside too, even with the thermostat set to 25, because it wasn't working. The apartment wasn't clean when we arrived: there was dirt and hair on the bed, sofa, and floor, and even the remote was dirty. We had to clean at 2:30 at night, and bought bleach for the toilet and shower. There was no water bottle, so we went out in the middle of the night to buy drinks. During our 10-day stay, the place was cleaned twice and the towels and bedlinen were changed, which should have happened more often. They didn't refill the toilet paper, so we bought our own. The owner came by, and when we explained how unhappy we were, she said a company washed the bedlinen and towels. But we still found dirt and hair on the supposedly clean ones. She said they normally clean once, and that rates are higher in summer, 500€/night, when the pool has warm water. We paid around 1100€ for our stay. There were no slippers or bathrobes. The listing should say the pool isn't heated. When she realized she wouldn't win the argument, she left without even apologizing. For an expensive place, this was a waste of money, and we expected more. I booked too quickly without reading all the reviews. Replies to this review won't change that other guests have also complained about cleanliness, the cold pool, and the lack of natural light and a view. We didn't ask for a refund because Booking said it wasn't possible. I don't recommend this place.

The apartment was modern, quiet, and clean, in a lively area full of local restaurants. It was super nice, well located, and the private pool was great to enjoy day or night. I'll definitely come back when I travel to Sevilla.

The owner replied to my review on Booking, the same one I posted here, and I want to respond to that reply. They said we complained about everything once we found the pool was cold, and blamed our expectations. They claimed they'd explained many times that heating it wasn't possible in low temperatures and short days, that they don't offer a heated pool or jacuzzi at that time of year, and that this was stated everywhere on Booking, including that the pool was closed for the season. But we arrived in the middle of the night. We only found out the pool was cold on Saturday morning, and couldn't see anything on Booking saying what they claimed. They said they keep the pool clean all year because a clean terrace is more enjoyable, and pointed to a 9.2 rating across 658 comments. They also claimed they tried to clean our apartment twice, but that we followed the cleaner around and insisted she use bleach everywhere, even though they use eco products. We were sitting on the terrace while she cleaned and didn't interfere with her work. We never asked her to use bleach. We bought it ourselves. We also put our trash in the bins across the street when we left. They said we asked to see the linen and towel stock because we thought they reused bedding between guests. We didn't ask to see it. After we showed photos of dirt and hair, they offered to show us that the laundry company had cleaned it. They also accused us of using coffee mugs as ashtrays despite a smoking ban. There wasn't an ashtray, and we only smoked on the terrace, never inside. They said the tap water in Sevilla is drinkable and they didn't understand our complaint about water. They claimed welcome packs vary by season and that ours included two drinks, coffee, tea, and sweets. There were no drinks, only coffee, tea, and sweets. They said long stays get free cleaning every 3-4 days, that ours was 9 days rather than 10, and that they come by daily to refill toilet paper. If they brought it every day, why did we have to buy it? We booked from the 17th to the 26th, 10 days and 9 nights. They said they were available if guests needed anything, and acknowledged that some apartments, including ground floor apartment 01, get less light. They said guests can choose duplex apartments or ones with balconies for more brightness, and that guests like the main patio apartments in hot spring and summer despite the lower light. They added that they had tried to make our stay as good as possible, but sometimes that's impossible. We didn't lie about anything we reported. If they call every unhappy guest a liar and reply with lies themselves, who's the liar?
