We only stayed two days, but there were enough problems to make me not want to return, which is a shame because I loved Sevilla and plan to visit again. The person who checked us in was pleasant and flexible when we arrived late a couple of times. The location is handy for walking around, the A/C was useful in summer, and the rooftop has a great view. After that, though, the apartment felt neglected. The walls had obvious stains and footprints, there was dust in less visible corners, and we found two cockroaches. There was roach spray in the apartment, which in hindsight should have been a warning. The kitchen sink leaked so badly that washing dishes for five minutes flooded the floor. The shower head leaked from the side too, and the tight shower doors didn't close properly, leaving the bathroom floor a little flooded. The sponge was dirty, there were no napkins or kitchen paper, and the kettle had a greasy film on the outside. The windows didn't offer an outside view: two bedrooms looked into some kind of storage space, while the others faced an inner courtyard overlooked by neighboring windows. That courtyard didn't feel private. The A/C in my bedroom smelled, and the rooftop has around 25 exhaust outlets aimed inward, so you get hit by warm exhaust air while trying to relax. It felt as if they only changed the sheets and towels. With so much needing a proper clean and maintenance check, including roach prevention, in just a couple of days, I can't see myself staying here again.

We arrived ahead of time, and the host let us leave our luggage somewhere safe while the apartment was being prepared. It was spotless and nicely furnished. The host was also kind enough to arrange our airport shuttle and explain the apartment and the neighborhood. The location is ideal, right in the heart of Old Town.

The bedding had a stale, oily smell, and the noise carried on until 1:00 am. Really, really noisy.

The rooftop deck had unusual views and was pleasant, though it was too hot for us to enjoy it. The rest was the least charming, smallest, and least comfortable apartment we visited in Spain. The sofa bed was too small for our two teenagers, and the Wi-Fi was awful.
