Hotel Doña Maria

We had an amazing view from the room balcony and rooftop bar, almost close enough to touch the Cathedral and Giralda. The hotel is right in the heart of Santa Cruz quarter. It’s beautiful throughout, from the lobby to the rooms and rooftop bar, and the decor is elegant. A lovely scent spreads through the place. The staff are highly professional, especially Senora Rocio.

We weren’t staying at the hotel, so this is only about the rooftop bar’s awful service. We wanted to have a cafe up there and see the Cathedral, but didn’t know the bar opened at 1pm. We arrived at around 12.45 and, even though the waiter already seemed to have a bad attitude, I politely asked in my best Spanish if we could wait there for a few minutes and enjoy the view. He reacted as if I’d asked him to cut off his hand. The building’s interior looks amazing, but that waiter’s attitude was ugly. He should find work outside the service industry.

A fantastic hotel in central Seville, with spacious rooms and a great rooftop bar overlooking the Cathedral. A great place to stay.

You’re right in the heart of Seville, just in front of the Cathedral and a four-minute walk from the Royal Alcazar, with hundreds of restaurants only minutes away. Despite the central spot, it’s quiet. There’s also a very cozy rooftop with a view. The staff were welcoming and always responsive. Excellent location, highly recommended.
