El Rey Moro Hotel Boutique

The views and indoor patio were my favorite parts, and the location made it easy to reach the cathedral and other tourist sights. The customer service was amazing. We stayed four days and three nights, and our room was so pretty, with a smart TV. We also used the laundry service, and our clothes were handled carefully. There's a restaurant, malquerer, on the first floor, which was convenient and delicious. The place is beautiful and right in the heart of the city. One thing to know when arriving is that taxis won't take you to the hotel door because the streets are narrow. They usually leave you near plaza de Santa Cruz, so you'll need to pull your luggage for about two minutes. It was only mildly uncomfortable at first. When leaving, they'll arrange a taxi, so that wasn't an issue. Recommend wholeheartedly!

It's a historic place in a good location. There's an elevator for the upper floors, and the rooms have AC, but you'll need to ask for an extra card to keep it running. Keep in mind taxis can't drop you at the door, so you have to walk and pull your suitcase.

The courtyard-facing room is gorgeous, and the hotel sits right in the middle of everything while still feeling quiet. Breakfast was so generous it kept us going all day, and Carmen looked after everyone so warmly. The historic building does let some sound travel between rooms, though that depends on your neighbors. Ours on the first night were definitely not quiet! What settled our decision to stay here was the character and, especially, the service. Aziz was a hero, and I owe him a huge thank you and a lot of hugs. We’ll be back.

We had a lovely stay at this beautiful little boutique hotel in the old city. The atmosphere, both in the hotel and restaurant, was excellent, and the coffee was good. We ate at the hotel restaurant, the 'Malquerer', three times. It was pretty good, though not brilliant. The staff were lovely.
