Green - Apartments Pleno Centro

It's in a great location, but the musty smell and other issues made for a bad experience. I wouldn't recommend it.

The apartment was in a bar area where parking isn't possible, so we had to carry our suitcases from Tegucigalpa on arrival and departure. People were coming home from a party at 4:30 in the morning, too. It was a bad experience overall. The apartment was a shabby semi-basement, 900 meters from the cathedral, despite the advertising photos showing a street view with a church or cathedral. There was little natural light, and we had to keep the blinds mostly shut because passers-by could see inside from street level. The TV and Wi-Fi didn't work, the sink drained, the doors sagged, and the walls and baseboards were deteriorated. There was mold in the bathtub, which leaked into the hallway during a short shower. Its 40-liter water heater meant my wife ran out of hot water when she showered after me. I called to complain. A technician came on the second day and got the Wi-Fi and TV working, and took photos of the other problems, but that was all. When I asked to move to another apartment, he ignored me completely.

The best thing was walking straight out into the city centre. The apartment was fantastic and in an excellent spot. We had a small problem with the sofa bed, which they sorted right away, but they should still replace the sofa. The kitchen was great, and the bed was very comfortable. I'd happily stay again.

The apartment was pleasant, clean, cosy and had everything we needed. There's a small pool on the terrace, big enough for a quick dip, along with hammocks. The one downside was parking, which was really hard to find nearby.
