Hotel Amadeus Sevilla

We loved the breakfast, and the staff were very friendly. The hotel is cozy and welcoming, with plenty of places to relax. It's beautifully decorated and renovated, and the rooms are comfortable and well designed. The rooftop pool is amazing too. The location is perfect, right in central Santa Cruz neighbour, one of the prettiest parts of Seville. We'll definitely come back next year for La Feria.

We stayed three nights in a terrace room and would absolutely return. The hotel is historic, unique, and really cool. Our room was lovely, and the air conditioning was wonderfully cold. The rooftop hot tub was amazing; we had it to ourselves on two nights in a row. Breakfast was great, and you can walk anywhere you need to go in Seville.

We mentioned our anniversary and were surprised with a complimentary bottle of local cava, a lovely way to mark the occasion. The staff were kind and accommodating, and the rooms were clean, cool, and well stocked. We stayed three nights and found the place peaceful and clean, with musical touches thoughtfully placed throughout. This family-run hotel is tucked down a small alley in the heart of Santa Cruz, away from the busy streets, but within walking distance of all the main sights. We'd highly recommend it if you want a quiet place to stay while visiting Seville.

The best part was the location. Our three nights at Hotel Amadeus came at the end of a longer Spain trip, and they left us disappointed after an otherwise great vacation. At over $300 USD a night, we expected more care and quality. Check-in felt disorganized, staff seemed forgetful, and we got almost no information about the hotel or its amenities, so things felt impersonal right away. The room was spacious enough, but the WiFi was poor and the shower flooded the bathroom floor each time. We were also surprised that most guests seemed to be older people on large group tours such as Rick Steves and EF. There’s nothing wrong with that, though it gave the hotel a different atmosphere than we expected. Compared with the other places we stayed in Spain, this felt very expensive for what we got.
