La Posada de los Venerables

There’s just enough room to sleep, but the bath doesn’t drain well and water collects. Wi-Fi was poor, especially on the second floor. The kettle, fridge and microwave are all in a shared area downstairs, not in the rooms. The fridge is only for items you buy there, so you can’t store your own things. There’s no water or sink where the kettle is, either. If you want hot water, you have to bring it from your room!

The furnishings are top quality, the place is quiet, and the service was excellent. It’s also only a few minutes’ walk from Cordoba’s main attractions. A beautiful place to stay, highly recommended.

Both of us were bitten at night by bedbugs. There’s a kettle downstairs, which is inconvenient, and no cups at all, even disposable ones. There wasn’t any tea or coffee either.

The service was bad. They wouldn’t keep our luggage for three hours, even though they were doing that for other customers. The pillows weren’t good, and there was no late checkout option.
