Las Atarazanas - Design Hostal

Being close to Seville Cathedral made it easy to visit the city’s main sights, and the accommodation and service were generally good. I stayed four days at Las Atarazanas - Design Hostal, but was very disappointed to get a different room from the one I paid for. I had booked a queen double room and was instead put on the third floor, where the bathroom had no ventilation. That room allocation issue, along with the bathroom ventilation, spoiled what could have been a perfect stay. I can’t rate it higher than three stars. Management needs to address this so future guests get the experience they paid for.

The location is perfect, right in the center. The rooms are comfortable enough for a stay, and the cleaning service was great. I even got a birthday surprise :) The main downside is the lack of a lift, since climbing the stairs at the end of the day isn’t pleasant. I’d recommend staying here in central Sevilla!

They left a thoughtful little birthday gift, and the room itself was clean and pleasant. My one issue was in room 101: the toilet door frame was wider than the door, so I couldn't lock it.

Las Atarazanas made a great base for our quick Seville trip. We had everything we needed in a clean, lovely room, and the staff left us the sweetest note. The main sights are only a few minutes away on foot, and the hotel was such a bargain.
