The building is beautiful, with an aged character that feels genuinely historic. That was about the only positive for me. I knew AIRE from New York, London, and Barcelona, so visiting the original in Seville had been something I'd looked forward to. The visit let me down almost across the board. Staff looked overwhelmed and stuck at the computer, as if the place was overbooked. I didn't feel anyone was really there for the guests. My massage was bad. The therapist seemed pleasant, but not trained as a masseuse. He just moved his hands up and down my limbs, with no pressure or technique and no sense of what my body needed. I stayed tense throughout, then booked another massage straight afterward so I could actually relax. I have the receipt. The thermal baths are lovely, but the visit felt rushed. I arrived 30 minutes early hoping to enjoy the pools, but got called for the massage after only 15 minutes. There was one sauna and one heated pool, and I spent less than 30 minutes in the water altogether. It wasn't worth the money. Afterward I went to the restroom and found there was no toilet paper. I told a staff member, who looked annoyed and said she'd let her colleague know. Luckily I managed to hold it in. I'm fluent in Spanish and English and spoke to everyone in Spanish, so this wasn't a misunderstanding. Skip the hype.

The baths are incredibly beautiful, and the rooftop is gorgeous. I often had the bathing spaces to myself, and it wasn't as crowded as other spas I've been to around Europe. The only thing I missed was being able to take photos. I understand the rule helps keep the atmosphere peaceful, but I wish staff could take a quick picture for someone alone, just as a memory. I went during my Sevilla trip today, despite being worried by some reviews, and the staff were so welcoming and kind whether I spoke English or broken Spanish. I've visited many spas across Europe, and this was even better than Budapest. My massage was lovely too. I had the Holistic Ritual 60', which was a fun experience with full-body exfoliation, an oil massage, a mini facial, and a hair mask. I loved it and will be back! 🥰

The massage itself was genuinely very good, and the staff were welcoming, helpful, and professional from the beginning. Getting to AIRE through Sevilla’s old streets was beautiful, and the candlelit baths in an ancient palace make an impressive setting. My 9 p.m. massage felt a little rushed, though, and the shared room, with only curtains between guests, wasn't as private or relaxing as I'd hoped. It was also louder than expected, which took away from the calm. The massage quality and atmosphere still made this memorable. I'd recommend a visit, but try for an earlier appointment.

A lovely, distinctive building and pools, all clean and high quality. The visit is well managed and follows a fairly structured process, making it a worthwhile way to escape the heat and relax. The massage was very light. I'd probably keep it to 30min or get one somewhere else, though it's a nice extra if you want to relax further and aren't expecting much.

It's a beautiful old hammam with Moroccan-style decor. For what it costs, I'd have liked more attentive service and a proper massage, rather than light stroking.
