Pensión Javier

The staff were welcoming, and our room was clean and comfortable. It’s a great value in a perfect location. The place was a little dated, and our room was right beside the entrance and front desk, so it didn’t feel very private. Still, we wanted a cheap, central place for one night, and it was just right for us. We’d definitely stay again.

The host was incredibly kind and accommodating, and I never felt unsafe during my first solo trip as a young woman. I stayed in a single room with its own bathroom, which was nice for the price. Both the room and hostel were super clean, with the host cleaning thoroughly every day. The area was quiet since it’s a walk from the center, but once I got to know Seville, I found it very walkable and safe as a solo traveler. The center and other attractions were easy to reach. The bed was comfy, and while it’s not a fancy modern hotel, I’d recommend it to solo travelers or groups. The walls are thin, so with more people around you’d probably hear them, but it was quite empty during my stay and noise wasn’t a problem.

The rooms were clean and comfortable. We were next to the entrance, but slept really well, maybe because we were tired. I’d gone in with low expectations after reading complaints about the soundproofing. The owner doesn’t speak English, so we had to use Google Translate.

Right in the heart of Sevilla, this was such a cozy, lovely place to stay. The staff take good care of the property and make sure guests are comfortable. I loved our stay.
