Rey Don Pedro Luxury Home

We arrived and couldn’t get into the property because we’d received no check-in instructions. We were left outside and lost a lot of time. After a long wait, some other guests arrived and helped us reach the person responsible by phone. He kept saying he’d sent messages through Expedia and couldn’t get hold of us. But we booked through Agoda, so why was he contacting us on Expedia, a platform we don’t know or use for this reservation? I contacted Agoda as well and got no response.

Though it’s a tiny hotel, it’s gorgeous and close to everything, tucked away on a quiet, charming corner. Our room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and scrupulously clean, and the public areas looked lovely too. We enjoyed breakfast at the partner hotel, El Rey Moro, less than 5 minutes away. Carmen served us and was lovely, especially helpful with dietary restrictions. The Malquerer restaurant at the hotel was excellent as well. Highly recommend!

We loved the peaceful views over the square and the lovely garden at the sister hotel, El Rey Moro. Sitting there with our free drink and coffee, then having a nice dinner, was a real treat. Our room with a terrace was even prettier than the photos, with a roomy living area that was great for relaxing. It was spacious and comfortable, spotlessly clean, and the towels and sheets were changed daily. The location made it easy to explore Seville’s main sights. I’d recommend booking direct, and we’d love to come back.

Rey Moro seems like the better value, so if you’re choosing between the two, I’d pick that one. We stayed at both it and Rey Don Pedro for a few nights and had a lovely time. The balcony and sunroom overlooking Santa Cruz were delightful, the details felt high end, and the service was five star. They’re sister hotels, but Rey Don Pedro has no staffed lobby. The jacuzzi, bikes, restaurant and other amenities are at Rey Moro. If you book through Expedia or another third party, your contact details may not reach the hotel, which can make WhatsApp or email communication difficult. You need those channels while staying at Rey Don Pedro because there’s no staff or lobby on site. Either way, you really can’t go wrong.
