The name Palacio del Infantado seems to have no connection to the Duke of Infantado, and I couldn’t find a reason for it. The palace house sits in the city center beside Alameda de Hércules, and its construction dates to between 1785 and 1799.
8/10
Commissioned in the 18th century and owned by the Marquises of Medina, this lovely palatial house is near Alameda de Hércules. I think the restoration has spoiled it: the original woodwork was replaced with cheaper, rougher materials, and the windows and doors are aluminum.
10/10
Quiet and in great condition, the apartment was close to lively areas popular with young people. It worked well for going out to eat or have drinks.
4/10
The stained sheets and duvets made a poor impression. I think they may have been scorched by an iron. Duvet covers would at least help guests feel sure they’d been washed.
