Student Only El Porvenir

I paid for four studio apartments for four students in Seville, from May 4th to June 7th, but University Living only reserved three. From the outset I had clearly said we needed housing for all four people for those dates. The alternatives offered for the fourth student were completely unsuitable or unacceptable. The company blamed the problem on one student supposedly sending their address late, but that isn’t true. I sent all four addresses together in a single message. Even after full payment, we never got all four units, and they’ve denied a refund for the booking they didn’t fulfill. Customer service was dismissive and wouldn’t take responsibility. It’s caused a lot of stress, inconvenience, and financial loss. I strongly warn students and parents considering the service. University Living has been unreliable, misleading, and unprofessional, and I’ll pursue formal complaints with consumer protection agencies in Spain and the EU.

Nido’s staff were especially helpful and made changes we needed very efficiently, always with a helpful attitude. We’ve had a very good experience. Many thanks to the Nido Team!

The roof terrace is nice, and the location is great. You can get to everything you need or want to see in Sevilla within 15-20 minutes. There’s also a 24/7 package service. But the place feels like a mental hospital. People behave like 14 year old kids on a school trip, and the guest rules are very strict. It’s insanely loud every night until 4 a.m., so I can’t sleep. The beds are hard, and some staff don’t speak English. The rooms are filthy when you arrive, full of dust and dirt, with some unknown substance on the furniture. The cleaning staff leave them dirtier than before.

My highlight was the rooftop pool, and I hope I can visit again next year. Staying at the Nido Student Residence was really nice. The staff were all friendly and super helpful whenever my roommate or I had a problem. Antonin from security was especially kind, always ready to help or suggest a restaurant or somewhere to visit.
