Triana Flat, 3mn from plaza de Cuba

The staff were unkind. I only found out a few hours before arrival that pets had to weigh 5 kg or less. The owner didn’t refund my money or help me find another solution.

The listing doesn’t match what’s actually offered. Booking says there’s parking, but leaves out that access costs 15€ per day. The facilities are reasonable, at least until you need help. The TV stopped working, and when I asked the person in charge for assistance, she refused to fix it and accused us of having more people than we really did, without any evidence or reason. Then the stove stopped working too, and we couldn’t get any assistance because she wouldn’t answer her phone. Not an experience I’d repeat.

The apartment was comfortable and welcoming, and the service was friendly and excellent. I’m still waiting for the coffee maker they said was broken, though. The apartment is spacious, but there’s a skylight facing the floor below, so when people downstairs turn on their lights at night, it sounds as if someone in your apartment is switching them on. The parking spaces you can reserve are in a private garage that’s hard to get into and far from clean, with junk all over. The service was good, but there was a hidden catch.

Triana is an excellent location, about a 15-minute walk from Seville’s historic center. Mercadona and a Simply supermarket are five minutes away, along with small shops, bars, and restaurants. The building manager checked on the property several times a day while we were there. My family of 27 and I stayed for three nights. The apartments are set up for two or four people, with two beds and a sofa bed. There’s an elevator serving the three floors, and a shared room on the terrace has two hairdryers, mops, and brooms for guests. The stairs felt a bit dangerous with small children. The bathrooms need maintenance: more than one toilet wasn’t working properly, and water leaked through the shower screens because they didn’t close. No soap or shower gel was provided.
