Urban Sevilla

The owners were lovely and managed to find me a room with only a few hours to spare after I'd badly messed up my booking. The room was nice, and, as I mentioned in my other review, they kept on top of the cleaning. The showers and toilets were available and clean. There's also a terrace where you can sit in the sun. Great location and a perfect fit for the price.

The terrace was a highlight, with plenty of sun and tables and chairs. The hostel is right in central Sevilla, on a pedestrian street, just a short walk from the cathedral and other sights. It's very clean and quiet, and everything gets cleaned daily. There are enough toilets and showers. The furniture is simple, and the bed was okay for me, though anyone particular about mattresses might want to look elsewhere. The kitchen only lets you heat food in a microwave. There's a kettle for tea, but no coffee machine, which is a real miss. Luckily, two cafe-restaurants are just five metres from the front door. The price for what you get is quite reasonable, and I really recommend it.

Getting in was easy even though we arrived at 1am, since we could check ourselves in. The location puts Seville's main attractions within walking distance. Our room was clean and a good size for two, with a really comfortable bed. The toilets and bathrooms are shared, but kept very clean. The kitchen upstairs was spotless too, and had both a fridge and freezer.

I didn't sleep especially well, mostly because the mattresses were pretty bad. Noise from the hall came through too, with creaky floors and lots of echo. Still, the private room felt fairly private for a hostel. It had a large glass door onto a little balcony, so there was usually a nice breeze, and double windows blocked most street noise. The bathroom facilities were clean and worked fine, with a separate private toilet as well as the shower area. There's a nice rooftop sitting area. The kitchen had no stovetop or oven, which was a little annoying. It was fine.
