The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the service was good. There was also a complimentary fridge and coffee maker with coffee. The village has lots of steep slopes. One thing to keep in mind: getting up to the house by car is difficult because the streets are so narrow, with no room to maneuver without risking damage. It’s better to leave the car in the lower part of the village. There’s a bar very close by, and about 2 km toward Artana, I recommend Ermita de Santa Cristina for a meal or a drink.

At €60, I expected a better arrival. We found the room being used for storage, with a mattress, folded bed frame, towels, and sheets inside. They cleared it out quickly and gave it to us, but there was still dust on the floor and headboard. The house itself is fine, though those problems left me with a negative impression. Getting there is awkward too. It’s in the town center, but you can’t reach it by car, and the designated parking is beyond the town. The streets are steep, and the high steps at the entrance made carrying luggage a bit of a struggle. The shower water was cold. They said the solar heater wasn’t working right and that we should have called to get the boiler turned on. If they knew about the problem, I don’t understand why they hadn’t left it running.

The rooms are kept in good shape, and the staff were excellent. I also appreciated the little bottles of water in the room, a nice extra I haven’t found everywhere. Beds were really comfortable, though a bit short for someone my height, and the bathroom was very well equipped. It’s right in the middle of Eslida. The price felt a little high without breakfast.

A great spot for exploring the whole mountain range, and the owners looked after us brilliantly. Our room was lovely, very comfortable, and in perfect condition. We’d happily come back.
