El Chisco

The bathtub was the one drawback for us, as we slipped a few times, and it’s why I’d give the room four stars. Otherwise, everything was amazing. We booked four nights unsure what to expect from a two-star hotel, but the incredible location, the owner’s welcoming hospitality, the delicious breakfast buffet, and how clean and well maintained everything was exceeded our expectations. There’s also information at the entrance about interesting things to do nearby. A perfect 10 experience, thank you so much 🙏.

Cudillero is close by and well worth visiting. The country hotel has peace, clean air, simplicity, and silence all around it. Breakfast was the best part of each morning, with different options on both days we were there. The homemade cakes were delicious!!!! The owner deserves a 10/10.

The remote location suited us, and the surroundings are perfect. There are plenty of nearby outings, including Oviñana, Cudillero, and San Martín de Luiña, with lots more to discover. The hotel was very clean, though a bit dated, and the manager was friendly and attentive. The mattress was good, and everything was fine. Breakfast was adequate; we don’t usually eat much in the morning, and they served a generous portion.
