El Albergue de Sigüenza - Hostel

Diego and Inés were so nice and helpful. We’re a family of four and really enjoyed our stay at the Albergue. The rooms are roomy, attractive, and comfortable, and the beds are especially comfy. There’s a kitchenette for simple cooking, and you’re also allowed to use the main kitchen. We’d definitely recommend this Albergue!

The hosts are welcoming and interesting, and the historic setting is a real treat. El Albergue is spotless, and in all my travels I haven’t stayed at a hostel where the little details felt so carefully considered. There are hooks right where you need them, beds with all the plugs you could want, and cozy corners for reading or relaxing. The outdoor patio is lovely, and the kitchen actually has everything you need to make a nourishing meal. It’s a source of pride, not a neglected afterthought. For a visit to Sigüenza, this family-run place is a great reminder of why I enjoy travelling.

The hosts are courteous, friendly, honest, and full of local knowledge. El Albergue is spotless and right in the heart of old Sigüenza. After a long walk or cycle, the courtyard is a lovely spot to relax with a beer. There’s a spacious shared area and kitchen, too. We’ll definitely return to explore more of this fascinating area.
