Hotel Celimar

We paid 4000 euros for a week, and my family and I have been good customers. During this stay we rented beach towels and returned them in the morning, but they said one was missing. Sonia refused to return our deposit at first and wanted to keep all 20 euros. We had to fight to get even 10 euros back. She wouldn’t listen when we tried to explain, then shouted at me in front of other customers after I called them thieves. Sonia was incompetent and poor at customer service. It’s a shame to lose good customers over 10 euros. Don’t go there, there are much better hotels in Sitges.

There’s a cozy cafe on the ground floor, and the hotel is well placed for getting to different beaches, cafes, and shops. Our room didn’t have a sea view, but the little balcony was a nice touch. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. They even helped us load a heavy bag into the car when they saw us struggling by the roadside. We’d happily come back.

The building is beautiful and the location is perfect, but staying here was one of my biggest hotel disappointments. It feels neglected and hasn’t been renovated in at least 30 years. Our room was tiny, and the staff weren’t very nice. I would NEVER stay here again.

The staff were super friendly and helpful, and the hotel’s gorgeous exterior is right on the beach, beside a pier and the church. Most major stores are just 2-5 minutes away. It checked all the boxes for a convenient Sitges getaway, and I’d definitely come back.
