Hotel Lavenida

The bus is only a three or four minute walk away, giving you plenty of ways to explore. The tram runs through the town square toward the Port, and the train station beside it goes to Palma. The square is where things happen in this small, peaceful town, and it's about a five minute walk from the hotel. Nightlife winds down around 9.30-10.00pm, which fits the calm feel of L'Avenida. This is a lovely small boutique hotel, peaceful and relaxing. The staff were happy, helpful and great, and made our stay wonderful. Breakfast was spot on, not huge but enough for pretty much anyone. We were a family of 14 and loved being able to stay so close together. The staff helped us explore the beautiful island and went above and beyond to make us comfortable. From the lovely setting to the great breakfast by the pool, they made our vacation perfect. I can't recommend this place enough, and we hope to come back one day!

Matthew and Monica are charming hosts. They were there whenever we needed anything, and the welcome glass of cava was a lovely touch. Breakfast was very good, though service could be slow if only one or two staff were on duty, so you might wait for that first coffee. The room was comfortable and well appointed, with a good ensuite shower room, but we couldn't get the TV working and didn't really need it. For a hotel of this calibre, I'd expect a coffee machine rather than instant coffee sachets. There's no lift, so if your room is upstairs or downstairs and no strong man is on duty, you'll need to carry your suitcases yourself. The hotel is on a quiet street in the centre of Soller, in a beautiful old Mallorca villa. Out back there's a sweet walled area with a lovely pool and sitting space where breakfast is served. I heartily recommend this wonderful hotel.
