I was so happy staying at Hotel La Vila and would love to return. The owner and staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. I loved watching the church from the window in the morning and at night, with the shopping streets and Soller all around. It’s right in the centre, and taking the tram to Port de Soller for dinner at Luna36 was lovely.

We had a wonderful meal at the restaurant on the square, with attentive staff who knew the menu well and gave helpful suggestions. The hotel itself is a beautiful Grand Art Nouveau building right in central Soller. Our room faced the square and the church of Saint Bartholomew, yet stayed very quiet thanks to the excellent soundproofing. The bed was large and comfortable, and the spacious bathroom had a strong shower.

We enjoyed having room to relax both inside and out, including sitting in the sun with café service. The rooms are large, with king beds and Juliette shutters looking onto green courtyards, plus generous bathrooms. It’s an impressive building with lovely architectural details and design. You enter through a beautifully decorated heritage cafe, right on the main town square.

The vintage rooms are really cute, the staff are very friendly, and the location is great. There’s also a 10% discount at the cafe/restaurant outside. The stairs can be a tough climb for older guests since there’s no elevator. Some appliances are worn out and melted, including the hairdryer, and should be replaced.

I only meant to stop for a drink in the sun, but the fantastic food convinced me to stay for lunch. Ramiro was an incredible server, offering recommendations and telling me to take my time and relax. Service like that is rare in Mallorca, and his advice helped make it my best day. Highly recommend.
