The house was lovely, well equipped, and in a great spot for getting away from it all. The woman who gave us the keys was kind. But we had a serious problem with the pool, and it ended in mild poisoning, luckily. On the day we arrived, we went in for a swim a little later. Without even putting our heads underwater, our eyes and throats started itching and the children began coughing. We got out, thinking maybe the chlorine was still disinfecting the water. We tried again that afternoon, but things got worse, especially for the little ones. They weren’t in for even five minutes before they were coughing nonstop and both started vomiting. The older one coughed for five hours, no exaggeration. We called 112, the Spanish emergency number, and were told what to do, and that if they didn’t improve we’d need to go to the hospital in Ávila. We were also told the issue could be coming from the air around the pool, with chlorine particles evaporating in the steam. We contacted the owner, who told us to remove the chlorine tablet and said he’d add more water. The next day, my husband and my other son went in, and the same thing happened to them. What makes me angriest is that we paid for a service we couldn’t use, and it nearly put us in hospital, yet the owner didn’t call or write the next day to check how we were or whether the problem had been fixed. I also believe proper maintenance should have prevented this. This won’t just be an anecdote or a Google review.

We went to celebrate our anniversary and loved the little house. It’s super cute, cozy, and beautifully decorated. The hostess was attentive and made sure we had what we needed. The heated pool was amazing, at just the right temperature, and the Jacuzzi in the room was incredible. We’ll definitely come back.

We switched off from our routine as soon as we arrived and completely unwound. The house is lovely, with a cozy, rustic feel, and the heating is excellent. There are nice touches like the bedroom jacuzzi and barbecue, but the heated pool was our favorite for relaxing. The owners were so friendly and attentive. We loved it and will definitely be back.

The pool is what gives this place its special charm, even though the jacuzzi was great too. We stayed three nights in one of the houses with our dog. David and his mother were both very kind, and the heating worked perfectly, so we were never cold. We’ll definitely be back.

It’s a small place, but has everything for a pleasant stay. The kitchen is very well equipped with a washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, ceramic hob, extractor fan, fridge, and all the utensils you need. The bedroom with the whirlpool tub is lovely, and sheets, towels, and bathrobes are provided. The heating is good, and the sofa bed in the living room was set up with bedding for our child. There’s also a barbecue and firewood. The indoor pool is great, though it could use a clothes rack or somewhere to hang clothes and bathrobes.
