The food was inedible, it was difficult to find anyone at reception, and the place was noisy and dirty. The crew were the worst I’ve ever encountered. I wouldn’t recommend staying even one night. Just go somewhere else. I still don’t understand how these guys have kept their license. Shame on the town mayor.

So-so.

The food is the real highlight here: homemade, delicious, generous portions, and clearly made with care. It’s hard to find food this good and home cooked. The hotel is very affordable for the area, run by a family whose friendly service makes you feel at home. It’s in a quiet pedestrian area in the old town. You can drive close to load and unload, then park a little farther away. There’s 24-hour access through a back door with a code, which gives you a lot of freedom. We could hear the bells, though they didn’t bother us. The building is old and has a charming retro feel, but it isn’t modern. Our room and bathroom were large and spacious, and they made the bed and cleaned the room daily. Towels were there when we arrived, and they replaced the toilet paper without any trouble. A few things could use attention: the blinds need some maintenance, the mattresses could be replaced for more comfort, and it would be nice to have shower soap as a basic amenity. For what you pay, it’s very good value. A few renovations would make it a 10, and I’d probably pay a little more for those improvements, though the price difference with other places nearby is already noticeable.

The check-in girl was kind and thoughtful, and the welcome felt humble. The location is great, though driving in and finding parking are difficult, which is normal for the town. It’s right by the bell tower, so that might disturb your sleep. The building is old, and parts of the floor are broken, hidden under the beds. With some renovation, it could be spectacular. The rooms are spacious, but could use better equipment, even just a chair for putting things on. There are only three power outlets, and all were in use. Noise control was nonexistent: at 11:40 pm there was still a lot of noise in the dining room and doors kept slamming. We had to get up early for a ski race, so we barely rested, though that part is more personal preference. Cleaning was mediocre. It looked clean at first, but the floor was sticky, the sink was dirty with clumps of hair and mold on the faucet handle, and the drawers had bits of paper and dusty trash. For the price, it’s okay and you can’t expect more, but it still leaves a lot to be desired. I’m giving it two stars despite the kindness and humility we were met with, because there are quite a few drawbacks. At a higher price, those issues would be the least of my worries. Thanks for hosting us. I hope you grow and reach the highest satisfaction :)🫶🏻

The sheets were filthy, covered with hair and yellow stains that looked like urine, and the bed was awful, with mattresses that felt like wires. We couldn’t sleep because we felt disgusted and unsafe lying there. There was no soap at all, not even hand soap, and the sink and towels were dirty and covered in hair. The room looked clean when we walked in, but the sewage smell hit us as soon as we opened the door. The price wasn’t worth it. It was the worst stay we’ve ever had.
