We stayed for a few days with family over Easter 2026 and had a lovely time. Loli was delightful, and the little house is thoughtfully set up for a restful break with family or friends. Being able to bring our large-breed dog was a big plus, since many places don’t allow him. He especially loved the garden. We’d gladly return in a few years.

Loli and her son David were lovely, attentive hosts who were always ready to help. The house is beautiful, and the village has a wonderful northern charm. One small drawback: the heating switches off at night, so the house feels cold if you get up during the night.

We spent New Year’s Eve here as four families, ten people in all. Every bedroom had its own bathroom, inside or outside, and the garden and barbecue area were lovely. The house was peaceful, spacious, very clean, and well equipped with lots of amenities. We also thought it was excellent value for money, in a charming village and a good location. Our hostess was delightful and kept checking that we had what we needed. We don’t understand some of the other guests’ reviews. We’re very grateful for everything and will definitely return.

The house was clean, comfortable, and beautiful, and it was a lovely place to spend time. We had a very good stay, with pleasant surroundings all around.

For our group of nine, the rooms were especially comfortable, with great mattresses and pillows. The bathrooms were better than we expected, too. The kitchen is a little small, though it has all the equipment we needed. We had a very good experience.
