There's a free bus to the sea at around 10am, with a return bus around 4, though walking takes about 15 minutes. The bar serves food. Our room is large, with a separate bedroom, but it's cleaned only every four days. The bedding and towels are changed then too, and the bins are always full by the time that day comes around.

There's a resident cat that seems to talk, it says hello as clear as day. The apartments are clean, the beds are comfortable, and the staff are lovely. The hotel is a little way out of the resort, but we've already booked to come back next year. The WiFi needs attention since it keeps dropping out. As a broadband engineer, I suspect the communications provider or older equipment in the complex may be the issue. It seems like something that could be fixed fairly easily and would make the stay better.

The broadband was non-existent, so once I'd gone over my 25mb allowance I was charged for internet use through my network. The apartment was cleaned every four days, with towels, bed linen and toiletries replaced. The rooms are basic but clean, and could do with a bit of updating. It's a little far from the nearest amenities, about 20 minutes away. I walk a lot, so that distance didn't bother me personally, but it could be difficult if you have mobility issues.

We found the Irish Bailey and had very good food there, with excellent service and prices. There's plenty to do once you reach the beach, but it's about a 25-minute walk. If you're after basic, no-frills accommodation and don't mind the walk, this place fits.
