The peaceful setting makes this a great spot for a relaxing break. Santiago de Compostela is only 20 minutes away, and there's a company offering all kinds of water sports on the Ulla River just 5 minutes away. David and his family are wonderful hosts. You arrive through a beautiful centuries-old oak grove, and the house has been renovated with real taste. It keeps the traditional rustic feel while adding modern comfort and space throughout, from the bathrooms and kitchen to the living room and bedrooms. The furniture is all new, in perfect condition, and spotlessly clean. I highly recommend staying here.

A few kilometers from Santiago, so you can have both nature and city life. We absolutely love Bueliña da Carballeira. The house is beautiful, has everything you need, and the outdoor space feels so welcoming. The host is friendly and attentive.

We came back for a second visit, in the summers of 22 and 24. The peaceful setting is incredible, less than 15 minutes from Santiago and the Galician highways, and we loved the calm and all the wonderful spaces.

We were so happy and comfortable here. If you like countryside, nature and quiet, this place is just 15 minutes from Santiago de Compostela. From the house, you can walk down to Pontevea, where there are all the amenities, plus lovely paths along the Ulla River and the Burga spring. The outdoor area is spectacular, with a beautiful garden, pool, sun loungers, parasols and lovely views. There's a traditional Galician granary, a hórreo, too. Across the way, sheep graze on a farm, and you can hear the neighbor's rooster. It's all very peaceful. The house itself was even better than the photos, beautiful and thought through down to the details. It has four bedrooms, each with a double bed and everything needed, plus two bathrooms, one with a round bathtub. The living room has Wi-Fi, a smart TV and a very comfortable chaise lounge sofa. The kitchen is fully equipped, including cookware, a dishwasher, washing machine, capsule coffee maker, toaster and blender. And a special thank you to David and his parents for their wonderful hospitality. They're excellent hosts and even better people.
