We loved having a spacious, comfortable apartment with character right in central Teror, looking out over the cathedral and square. Sunday's market brings live music and dancing to the square. The charming host was always helpful and shared inspiring ideas for places to see around the island. It's a handy base for central and northern Gran Canaria: we enjoyed drives to Tejeda and its spectacular mountains, Galdar for the pre-Hispanic remains and cave art, and Puerto de las Nieves for fish restaurants by the harbor. Las Palmas is about 25 minutes away. What's not to like?

We found a parking spot most times after looking around a bit, usually 100 to 500 meters away. There isn't dedicated parking, but the apartment is within walking distance of a small supermarket and worked well as a base for hikes, starting on foot or driving out first. A bus to Las Palmas runs hourly until the evening. The apartment is lovely, with excellent amenities and thoughtful details, and it was spotless. Everything promised was there.
