The sunset at the bar was a highlight. The setting was beautiful and peaceful at that time of day, and the bar food was delicious. Lunch and dinner reservations were handled really well, and the restaurant was refined, with excellent service and very high quality cooking. The chef and whole team deserve a mention, especially António, Laura, Jesús, Brian, and Isaac. At reception, Luís was also attentive throughout my stay. Care was there from the very start. The team answered my room questions clearly and kindly while I was booking, and gave me a warm welcome when I arrived. Since the room was ready, they let me check in a little early, and helped with my luggage and the details of arrival. On departure day I had to leave early, so they packed a small breakfast picnic for me. A simple, thoughtful gesture that sums up the hotel's spirit. It was a beautiful stay, and I can't wait to return to César Lanzarote.

We caught the island at a rare moment, when the black volcanic soil had turned green. Seeing the whole horizon of volcanoes and sea from the hotel made the scene even more special. The property felt polished and intimate, just right for unwinding. César Manrique's vision is all over the island, with black earth, white walls, and green woodwork, so it's hard to stand out. This hotel manages it with ease. The staff were wonderful hosts, and breakfast was amazing each morning. Try lunch too, especially the Morena chips with mojo. We already want to come back.

The food was a highlight for me as a gastronomy lover. Dishes from breakfast through dinner used local ingredients with creativity, and the flavours felt vibrant and true to Lanzarote, with beautiful presentation. It added another memorable layer to the stay. The rooms were carefully put together, minimalist but full of texture and detail, and comfortable and calm enough to let me fully recharge. The hotel's quiet atmosphere and stunning surroundings felt like an oasis. As an artist and fashion designer, I found Hotel César Lanzarote deeply inspiring. Traditional Lanzarote architecture meets contemporary design throughout, with clean lines, natural materials, and colours that echo the volcanic landscape and artistic heritage. It felt like a creative sanctuary where I could think, wander, and dream. The staff were warm, attentive, and professional, with a calm manner that made me feel at ease. Their personal attention never felt intrusive. This is more than a place to sleep, it's a thoughtfully designed experience that relaxes you and sparks creativity. I highly recommend it to travellers who value design, service, and food. Thank you for such a beautiful stay. One of the BEST HOTELS I HAVE EVER STAY AT. I'll be back! ✨

The best part was the staff. Pauline welcomed us into such a serene, peaceful place, and Isaac and Gabriel made us feel genuinely cared for at dinner. They even arranged a lovely surprise during our stay. We'll return in a heartbeat, and the visit has made us curious about staying at the group's hotels around the world too. We booked at the last minute after the accommodation we'd arrived at became uninhabitable in the extreme weather. Coming through the mist, this hotel felt like a weekend sanctuary. Its history and thoughtful renovations have made for a sublime hotel in beautiful surroundings. Thank you for looking after us so well.

Peace and quiet run through the hotel, which blends into the volcano and sea landscape around La Asomada. The location is privileged, with lovely Atlantic and volcano views. We had a sunny day that made the beauty of the place shine. The interiors, designed by renowned national designer Virginia Nieto, preserve Lanzarote's character and the distinctive style of our admired César Manrique. It feels like comfortable, quiet luxury, and was a real pleasure for the senses. We also loved the food. Fresh local produce came from the hotel's own farm, and the dishes were creative and original, using Lanzarote ingredients. Among the examples were La Santa red prawn (Carabinero rojo de La Santa) and goat stew cannelloni with Don Nicolás cheese sauce from Finca de Uga, named Spain's best cheese in 2024. The wine list includes wines from the hotel's own #jabledetao winery, which are well worth trying. Service was consistently friendly and attentive without going overboard. We'll definitely return. This is one of Lanzarote's most authentic and unique places, and I'd highly recommend the experience.
